  • 2006-2007 - VII -"Italian and the sea"
    Responsible for the preparation and participation of the students to the Seventh Week of the Italian Culture in the World with students seminars and lectures on the subject-matter " Italian and the sea" (L' Italiano e il mare). by using media technologies and slides. A student, tutored by the Lecturer, is second prize winner of the World Competition Essay
  • 2007-2008 - VIII -"Italian in the square"
    Coordinator and promoter of the Conference on Paintings of Squares through a historical excursus among the most important Italian painters by the journalist and art critic prof. Alberta Gnugnoli Responsible for the preparation and participation of the students to the Eighth Week of the Italian Culture in the World with students seminars and lectures and shooting of a short film with sketches acted by students on the subject -matter " Italian in the square" (L' Italiano in piazza)
  • 2008-2009 - IX - "Italian among art, science and technology"
    Responsible for the preparation and participation of the students to the Ninth Week of the Italian Cultural in the World with students seminars and lectures and shooting of a short film with sketches acted by students on the subject -matter " Italian among art, science and technology " with special reference to Marinetti's Futurist Theatre. Coordinator and promoter of the Conference on "A voyage to the Antarctic Continent ", personal experience by the journalist and art critic prof. Alberta Gnugnoli
  • 2009-2010 - X - "Italian a language as a friend"
    Responsible for the preparation and participation of the students to the Tenth Week of the Italian Culture in the World with students seminars and lectures and "A live Chorus of traditional folk songs dear to the past Italian migrants" sung by the Syrian students of Italian and with the exceptional and friendly participation of Lina Testini Iannelli who kindly directed us.
    Conference by the Lector prof. Ilvana Mirto on "The migrant cultures and the nowadays phenomenon of the Italian language of the migrants in Italy".
  • 2010-2011 - XI "Happy Birthday Italy"
    Responsible for the preparation and participation of the students to the Eleventh Week of the Italian Culture in the World with students seminars and lectures and production, by the Syrian students, of a bilingual DVD (Arabic-Italian) with the same Week title coordinated by the Syrian student Sumer Alali, Damascus University researcher and by Dima Al Hamo, communication and journalism, including historical aspects (Garibaldi); artistic aspects (The Macchiaioli Painters - I Macchiaioli) and cultural- literary aspects (cuts from films taken from the novels: "Small old World " by A. Fogazzaro (Piccolo mondo Antico di A. Fogazzaro) and "The Leopard" by T. Di Lampedusa (Il Gattopardo di T. Di Lampedusa).
    Responsible for the preparation and realization, with students, of a DVD about a Photographic Review of 120 photos taken in the streets of Damascus (and Alep) to underline the meeting of Italian and Arabic Language in the city environment.

AT THE ITALIAN AND CULTURE INSTITUTE OF DAMASCUS (ICI)
  • 2008-2012 Institute CINECLUB. Coordinator of the Film Review with presentation of the same films to the Italian speaker audience. Preparation of the Film Booklet , together with Dima Al Hamo, former student of Italian of prof. Mirto
  • 2008-2009 Diploma Delivery Day in June. Coordinator of the Ceremony, at the presence of the Damascus University Academic Authorities and the ICI director T. Firmani.
  • 2009-2010 inside the Tenth Week of Italian Language and Culture in the World - coordinator of the Conference on "Music and words" (Musica e Parole) by prof. Romana Zacchi, full professor of English Language and Literature and previous vice-dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures of Bologna University.
  • 2010-2012 Updating of Damascus ICI Website and Newsletter - administrator, with Dima Al Hamo's cooperation, of the communications to the students' and Italian speakers' mailing lists.
  • 2011-2012 Italian Karaoke at Harmony of Bab Touma (Damascus ), the young popular cafeteria. Prof. Mirto organized successfully a karaoke and buffet with a large participation of University and ICI students and ... lots of fun!
